Boulder City Park
Boulder City Park sits on the corner of 2nd St NW and N Boulder Ave. The city park gets its name from a large granite boulder that was deposited by glaciers. Located at Boulder Park are two sets of playground equipment, a basketball court, a new pickle-ball court, and a beautiful Butterfly Garden. Pickle-ball equipment is available for use free of charge. Please contact City Hall for the key. A shelter also sits in the park below the old water tower, where the Buffalo Days celebration happens every year. |

Lookout Point City Park
Lookout Point City Park sits up on the hill overlooking the Old Mill Pond on 8th St NW. This park hosts part of the Old Town Loop Trail, which is perfect for walking, running, or biking. The trail has been resurfaced as of the Fall 2018. There is also playground equipment with the Parks and Recreation board installed in the Fall of 2013. The North Water Tower also sits in this area of the town. A shelter also sits within the park and is a great place for a picnic or get-together with family or friends. |
Mill Pond City Park
Mill Pond City Park sits right off of Shellrock Ave and is home to the mile long Old Town Loop Trail. Mill Pond City Park is also a great place to fish, being home to Channel Catfish, Northern Pike, Smallmouth Bass, and Walleye. This park also offers canoes and kayaks a landing site. Mill Pond City Park is home to the Pedestrian Bridge, which spans the Shellrock River. The Bridge became open for public use Decemeber of 2018. |

Shell Rock River City Park
The Shell Rock River City Park is located on N Hooker Ave just southeast of the Shellrock River Greenbelt. The Mill Pond dam is located across this area of river. As of August 2020 the parking lot has been paved and new picnic tables have been purchased. The shelter located here received a fresh coat of paint in 2019 and the park offers ample space for friendly get togethers. The Shell Rock Park is now home to the Pedestrian Bridge which spans the Shellrock River. The bridge connects Shell Rock River City Park with Mill Pond City Park. This stretch of river is also a great place to drop a line and enjoy a day of fishing. |
